Team Biography

Clockwork Mania is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based in Orlando, FL. Composed of 5 high school freshman students: Carlos, Sebastian, Camila, Edwin and Mashnun, and our mentor Mrs. Barea. This is our first year taking part on the Moonbots competiton and are excited to be able to take part on this year's challenge.

Sponsored by Orlando Science Schools most of our team members have been involved with robotics competitions for more than two years.

The team started with our participation in FIRST Lego League's 2010 Body Forward season. During the 2011 season we move on to FIRST Tech Challenge and their Bowled Over! challenge. And in 2012 the team joined the FIRST Robotics Competition for their 2012 Rebound Rumble season.

Moonbots 2012

Moonbots is an online robotics competition for teams all around the world. On its 3rd year the competition requires teams to design and build a robot that would run a set of missions on a lunar landscape of their own design. As part of the project teams need to perform a community outreach activity where they will show their robot and spread the word about robotics.
